The Young Trustees Movement (YTM) is looking to appoint a new Finance Trustee to its Board, in light of the current Finance Trustee moving abroad. The Young Trustees Movement is also in the process of incorporation, with the current and new Finance Trustee set to become the first Trustees of the movement once it is formally registered with the Charity Commission. This is a voluntary role responsible for ensuring the movement is well run, financially sustainable, and working effectively towards its purpose. While this is a voluntary role, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed and learning and development opportunities will be offered. The Finance Trustee will be appointed for a three year term.

The Young Trustees Movement is made up of current and aspiring young trustees, employers and allies. We exist to transform charity boards by growing and centring youth leadership, through disruption and collaboration across the sector. The Treasurer takes a lead role in ensuring Rainbow Migration’s financial affairs are conducted within legal requirements, accounting conventions and good practice to ensure the financial viability and sustainable development of the organisation.

Cardinal Hume Centre is looking for two new trustees to help break the cycle of homelessness for children, young people and families. We are recruiting for two complementary trustee roles: a trustee with lived experience and a trustee with senior estates, building or facilities expertise.

We are looking for a young trustee with a strong background in finance or accounting to join our board.

The SRA is in a good financial position, with well-established processes and external professional support. The Treasurer’s role is therefore one of strategic oversight and assurance, not day-to-day management. The Treasurer helps ensure that financial planning, risk management, and reporting support the organisation’s long-term aims — including a move toward multi-year budgeting, new income streams and sustainable investment in growth and member value.

We are keen to support young trustees and already have an early career trustee on the board. As part of that commitment we will support additional training and have a buddy system in place.

The SRA is working completely remotely and most board meetings are taking place online. We get together in person a couple of times a year for occasions such as the annual conference and a trustee awayday. These events usually take place in London.

We are looking for trustees to join our growing board. No musical experience is required. Instead, we are particularly looking for additional expertise in the following areas: • Business acumen/commercial strategy • Marketing • Digital strategy • Corporate fundraising • Individual giving fundraising • Major donor fundraising • Accountancy • HR management and process • Charity law

We are looking for people who bring knowledge or passion for the arts, design, social care, digital communication, or charity governance and legal matters. If you care about supporting creativity and social wellbeing in the South West, we'd love to hear from you.

Trustees are expected to have an interest in the crafts, whether as a practitioner or as a simple enthusiast, and a willingness to devote the necessary time and effort to the role (at a minimum, two half-days per year). We especially welcome applicants with marketing and communication skills. Previous board experience is not essential.
