Theatre@41 is York’s leading independent theatre. For 25 years, we have provided affordable, accessible space for classes, rehearsals, workshops and performances for both the local community and touring artists.

Following changes to our governance structure, we are entering an exciting period of development and are seeking new trustees to join our charity’s Board.

We are growing and are seeking to strengthen our Board through the appointment of 3 new trustees with a passion for supporting young people in to pathways towards meaningful and sustained employment and rewarding careers. For one of these roles we would like to appoint a Young Trustee, (under 25 years old) to represent youth voice on our Board.

As a Supporting Board Director with Education Specialism, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organisation, assisting with leadership tasks, governance, and project oversight and Contribute to The Great Autistic CIC Educational Activities and Future Curriculum.

We are looking for six innovative and driven young people between the ages of 16-25 to join our current members of the Youth Advisory Board and help think creatively about how the Theatre can work to welcome diverse and dynamic audiences.

As a trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Nottingham Women’s Centre. You will contribute your skills and insights to help us deliver our mission, ensure sound financial management, and champion the voices of the women we support.

Trustees make sure we’re doing the right things for the right reasons – from setting direction and making decisions, to offering support and accountability.

We welcome applications from women from all walks of life and are particularly keen to hear from people with lived experience of the issues we work on or our services. You do not need prior board experience —just passion, integrity, and a commitment to gender equality.

Your main focus will be to spread the and benefits of partnering with The Greener Earth Project to businesses and individuals alike. This will require managing and working alongside our Business Development volunteers to ensure to have a strategy and focus for growing our partnerhips and memberships.
