Trustees of CAPE are responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight, and governance to ensure the charity fulfils its mission to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Trustees work collectively to ensure CAPE is well-run, legally compliant, financially sound, and delivering high-quality, safe, and equitable services for the people who rely on them.

We are entering a new and exciting chapter - and we are looking for a Chair of Trustees who wants to lead with heart, champion young people, and help shape our future. The Chair will play a pivotal role in guiding our Board, supporting our CEO, and ensuring our governance reflects our core values of sensitivity, integrity, reliability, and a commitment to listening and learning.

The League Against Cruel Sports is at an exciting point in its 100-year history. With a new Chair, a new CEO and a bold new strategy, we are entering the next chapter in our mission to end the persecution of animals for sport once and for all.

The Sparkle Project is a new organisation dedicated to supporting young people after long-term psychiatric hospital stays and creating safe, inclusive spaces that truly understand mental health and neurodivergent needs.

We are now building our first Board of Trustees. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a new organisation at the very beginning.
