As the Communications & Marketing Director, you will lead efforts to enhance external communications and elevate Unseen Tours' brand presence. Your focus will be on shaping a cohesive narrative that reflects the organisation's mission and resonates with diverse audiences, while fostering relationships with key stakeholders and identifying opportunities for growth through partnerships and industry engagement.

Role Description:

• Communicate the Unseen Tours growth story and clearly articulate our KPIs and success externally.
• Identify key areas where the brand can improve and grow and help bring these into the business - via partnerships or creative collaborations.
• Train guides and wider team to improve the way they present themselves in the media and on panel discussions, and to find more opportunities for them to engage in such.
• Refine our external communications plan to reflect the organisation’s mission, ethos and values and help increase sales.
• Inform our communications approach across media, social, and influencer advocacy to support the launch of new initiatives and the sale of our products.

As the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and advising on our financial operations and ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of our social enterprise. Your core role will be to inform the Board of Directors’ discussions of financial matters. Candidates should therefore be skilled and experienced in interpreting financial information and explaining it to a non-specialist audience.

Role Description:

• Lead the development and maintenance of robust financial systems to ensure compliance with financial procedures, statutory regulations, and obligations while effectively managing related risks.
• Build and enhance the organisation's financial capabilities, providing leadership and guidance to strengthen financial performance and regulatory compliance.
• Lead on the monthly finance meetings, and contribute to the quarterly director’s meetings.
• Review monthly management accounts/financial information.
• Compile annual budget and accounts with CEO and other directors.
• Keep track of progress against budget targets in monthly finance meetings.
