The National Centre for Music (Edinburgh) is searching for new Trustees to support its organisational development as it prepares to open an iconic cultural destination. You will work closely with our executive team to develop and launch the organisation - defining the brand, setting the business model and staff team, establishing business partnerships and ensuring integration and collaboration with the music sector, as well as with Edinburgh and Scotland’s wider cultural infrastructure. The National Centre for Music will have its home in the former Royal High School in Edinburgh, a spectacular 200-year old heritage site, currently being transformed by the Royal High School Preservation Trust. We are now seeking new Trustees to join us on both our Sheffield Theatres Trust Board and The Montgomery Theatre and Arts Centre Board. Trustees of the Board are charged with ensuring Sheffield Theatres Trust operates in accordance with company and charity law and is prudently financially managed. Trustees contribute their experience and area of expertise to the Board’s role of determining the strategic direction, polices and planning of the organisation.

Wokingham Pride became a Registered Charity in 2024, but our roots go back further, with the Pride celebration in summer and increasing support for the LGBTQ+ community, firmly-focused on a family-friendly organisation that is also disability and neurodiversity inclusive.

Our Board includes people from the LGBTQ+ community, and we are looking for allies and supporters to join as new trustees, as well as more members of the LGBTQ+ community. All trustees must be trans-inclusive and have a strong empathy with our beneficiaries and our activities.
