We are looking for up to 4 new trustees, with a priority focus on those with skills and experience in performing arts, legal and governance, finance, learning and participation, and fundraising. Each trustee serves for up to 2 terms of 3 years each.

We're looking for new trustees to join Ealing and Hanwell Scouts District Trustee Board!

What are trustees? Trustees are a team of volunteers who see the big picture, make decisions, and work together to help Scouts run smoothly.

Trustees play a key part in Scouts, and keep an eye on our vision. They make sure young people have the best experience at Scouts, and check things are being done safely and legally.

Trustees support leaders to deliver a fantastic programme, while having a laugh, making new friends, and learning new skills themselves. The Ealing and Hanwell District Trustee board supports the work of all the different Scout groups across Ealing and Hanwell, as well as the campsite in Stoke Poges owned by the District.

Role details Trustees would be appointed for an initial one year term from September 2025 with the opportunity to extend. The trustee board meets every 2 months

Trustees ensure S&CC delivers its mission, remains financially sustainable and legally compliant. You don’t need to have been a trustee before – we welcome, and support, people stepping into Board roles for the first time and encourage fresh perspectives. As a trustee, your responsibilities will include strategic oversight and governance, upholding charitable objectives, supporting and challenging the executive team, and representing S&CC externally when needed.

DEBRA was established in 1978 by Phyllis Hilton, whose daughter had Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB,) as the world’s first patient support group for people living with EB.

Today DEBRA UK is a national charity supporting 3,500+ members, which includes people living with EB, relatives, partners, or carers of someone with EB, healthcare professionals and researchers who work with EB.

We are now seeking members for our Fundraising and Marketing Committee, to inform and develop the Charity’s evolving fundraising & marketing strategy.

We are looking for individuals with either a marketing or fundraising background.

We are excited to invite two young people aged 16–25 to join our Board of Trustees. You might be a music student, a young creative, or someone eager to learn how charities are run and how your voice can shape decisions at the highest level of a charity.

Being a trustee is both a rewarding and strategic volunteer opportunity. You’ll play a vital role in shaping Kent Music’s vision, supporting its leadership, and strengthening music education for the region.
