Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it. In less than a decade, we have secured the recognition of economic abuse and post-separation abuse in law, shifted public understanding so that half the UK population now knows what economic abuse is, and placed tackling it at the heart of government Violence Against Women and Girls and Financial Inclusion strategies.
As SEA approaches its tenth anniversary, we are looking for a Chair, and up to four new trustees, to grow and strengthen our board as we grow our influence and impact.
