Being a leader isn’t ever easy or simple. In this session participants will reflect on their place within the broader young trustee movement while mapping out key support networks, allies, and personal wellbeing strategies.
Participants will be matched with a Young Trustees Movement-approved mentor who, over the course of three weeks, will help them scope a particular governance or professional development project that will be beneficial to their trustee journey.
Through interactive group work, you’ll practice real-world skills to navigate tricky board dynamics and handle pushback with confidence. Working closely with your peers, you’ll learn how to handle tough conversations, support your allies, and use equity-focused strategies to drive a charity’s mission and ensure real impact.
