Kieran is a Finance Trustee at the Young Trustees Movement, bringing experience across finance, regulation and charity governance.
He began developing his understanding of governance through university, extracurricular leadership roles and his experience as a Students’ Union Part-Time Officer. Professionally, Kieran works at the Financial Conduct Authority, where he has gained experience reviewing corporate governance disclosures and practices across some of the UK’s largest companies.
Kieran has also served as a charity Treasurer, giving him practical experience of financial oversight and supporting Boards to make informed decisions. He is passionate about strengthening governance and creating more opportunities for young people to contribute to charity Boards.
As Finance Trustee, Kieran is particularly interested in supporting YTM’s sustainable growth, strengthening financial processes and controls, and helping the Board understand the financial implications of its decisions.
